ABOUT

I graduated from Texas State University in 1991. Since then, I have worked for small graphic design firms, Fortune 500 companies, and even ran my own business for a time. These experiences afforded me the opportunity to work in a number of capacities, including art directing for photo shoots and package design management. I enjoy applying my wide range of design experience, which includes logo and branding development, print design, packaging, and wayfinding/signage systems.

Over the years, professional organizations from across the country have recognized my work, including the New York Type Directors Club, Graphis magazine, HOW magazine, PRINT Magazine, the Austin Ad Federation, and Austin’s chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). In addition, books such as Creating Great Design on a Limited Budget, by Lee Chartier and Scott Mason and LogoLounge 8 and 10, by Bill Gardner & Anne Hellman, featured my designs.

In my free time I enjoy playing board games, shopping, traveling and collecting old vintage signs. However lately, its playing with my new puppy ”Polo”.
